Behavioral profiling is one of the key challenges in game analytics.
The Game/AI Conference was held for the fifth time in Vienna, and forms an excellent even for professionals working with AI in games. I gave a brief talk on the nuts and bolts of game analytics in general, and more specifically on the use of cluster analysis for the development of behavioral profiles of players. The slides are available here.
For the presentations I developed a short list of references (definitely not comprehensive) on game analytics in general, behavioral profiling and the use of cluster analysis to generate behavioral profiles of players. The list is available here.
Thanks to the organizers and attendees for a great event.
